One of my biggest passions, making a variety forms of art, frequently coincides with my professional endeavors. Taking a second to contemplate that fact, I realize how fortunate I am.
BRAND COLLABORATIONS
Bombox Collaboration
As an artist, it is often challenging and rewarding to come up with new ways to showcase artwork. While I create a lot of material across a variety of techniques and media, one of my first loves is what I like to call “organized chaos”-inspired abstract illustrations. The opportunity to work with the Bogotá-based furniture design firm and retailer, Bombox, on a full line of products that allowed me to utilize my artwork in such a new way was a dream come true.
FieldTrip Collaboration
There’s no denying that 2020 has been one of the most backwards, confusing and trying years of our lifetime. Although there is so much negativity floating around out there, it’s important to remember that there are many amazing people doing amazing things. James Beard Award-winning chef JJ Johnson (include link to FieldTrip collection) is one of those people. Thanks to his highly successful fast-casual Harlem-based restaurant, FieldTrip, he is helping feed those in need in his beloved neighborhood. I am honored to have been asked to partner with him to design a line of FieldTrip-themed apparel, home goods and other accessories to help in the good fight. 60% of all sales go to his organization providing people with much-needed food assistance.

Whether it’s capturing candid street shots around the world, beautiful wildlife, seeing that world from above with my drone, drawing over images I’ve taken over the years or making surrealistic collages that meld these various stories and places together, there’s one constant: my camera.
Illustration or painting is another love of mine - both in my studio or digitally with my Apple Pencil on my iPad.

ORIGINAL MUSIC
Ever since I can remember, music has been a part of my life - both listening and making. Curiosity is a personal trait of mine that I hold very dear and it comes across in a big way through my original music. My goal is to create sounds utilizing my own original compositions intertwined with samples of music you likely will not ever expect to work well together. Finding that amazing Greek folk song riff, that Thai pop vocal from the 70s, or that Bollywood synth arrangement and realizing they actually connect on the same song is a great feeling. I get to discover a lot of amazing music that I probably never would have heard.
